Tobias is a VOice over actor, audio engineer, musician, DJ and composer who’s been professionally involved in the music industry since portland’s rave hey days of the 1990s. hugely inspired by the occasional performances by house music DJs from Chicago, Detroit and NY, He made his way to Chicago via a recording program at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.

In chicago he worked at chicago trax recording studios before moving on to seminal deep house label Guidance Recordings as audio and graphic production manager. on guidance he released the DJ mix Midnight Express vol. II in 2003.

Encompassing an ever expanding taste for genres, Tobias moved back to Portland in 2006. since returning to his hometown, he has played in a multitude of bands, trotting the globe with kassi valazza, the states with roselit bone. he released his own country album ‘the luckiest hippie alive’ in 2018 as well as a psychedelic garage album with his outfit the verner pantons.

Currently, you can find him behind the recording console at singing sands, on bass, keys, or guitars with his bands or spinning vinyl records in the myriad clubs and bars of portland, or.
